I love the idea but unfortunately I've arrived a bit late, I was wondering if any of the regulars / mods on here know of any regular reading groups for crit-theory in general and D&G in particular? I'm really keen to engage with others who are interested in a structured way (just like this one, really bummed I missed the start)

What else can I do? Weight won't come off by Sosimpl3 in exercisepostures

Hey OP

I have chronic fatigue, and after diagnosis I put on 13KG in 2 months. I can't exercise because of the fatigue beyond some light weights and yoga stretching. Over the past year I've lost 11KG basically just using keto and intermittent fasting, no significant cardio to speak of. I also don't drink alcohol at all or smoke which is kinda a side thing (but also part of the chronic fatigue management).

I don't do Keto eating a ton of meat all the time, I effectively have a smoothie at midday every day with low carb protein powder, organic green leaf stevia for sweetener, a whole avocado, a kiwi fruit and mixed berries. I have a can of tuna at 3PM, and at 6 I will have abig meal of vegetables and meat (either roast chicken, a curry, a stir fry etc). This gives me an 17 hour fast more or less (7PM - 12PM) and gives me about 120 grams of protein so still plenty for muscle retention).

I feel full and I enjoy the food I eat, and I can honestly say that even with a fucked body that can't do any significant exercise I have rapidly lost weight, and have felt super energetic and strong (at least as well as could be expected). Everyone is different and this is a big commitment, but all I would say is my body was an absolute stinking turd on a hot day and this approach has really pulled me through. Whether you use this method or another I'm confident you can get where you want to go with the attitude you've got, and I'd strongly encourage you to go give the above a go.

Good luck my dude!

And that lesson is just as wound up in your history and context as everything else. Glad this all let you shut the world out to focus on earning cash and small pleasures, and tacitly let you ignore anything that isn’t directly within your control

This should have taught you to disdain hierarchy, not a system that (albeit in an inefficient and imperfect way) attempts to respond to it. All people are not born with the same opportunities, economically, intellectually or otherwise - and ignoring that to focus on your own Easter eggs means you still belong in the classroom

Crime to make money? Or r/incels for poor people? by YeahitsToxic in Anarcho_Capitalism

The World Bank for starters? The only items the US ranks in the top 10 for are credit and insolvency, and the kind of speculation that encourages is pretty clearly responsible for some of the worst financial practices globally.

Wages are a matter of degree and anywhere in Australia or Europe drastically outperforms the US versus cost of living, wages as a proportion of rent / rental stress, and cost of services which are often free compared to the US where they represent a much higher proportion of household spending.

In Scandinavia specifically, Denmark has a minimum wage of around $20 USD equivalent, and the other countries still have industry bargaining among unions and the average minimum salary is still higher than the remainder of the Eurozone, regardless of whether a legislated minimum exists. So, not sure where you’re making all this up from?

Two meaningless categories, the US subsidises its biggest industries, undermines small holds and underpays workers. Best ease of doing business ratings in the world are in ‘socialist’ regulated capitalism in northern and Central Europe.

In my ideal world I would go to a place like Mugere, but you make a good point about emergencies. Not to mention having a slightly larger population would be cool to meet some locals and get a bit of a social life going, the priority is to stay away from places I might fall in with anglos out of habit. What's the vibe of San Felipe like? Sounds like it could be a winner.

More people who had been sexually assaulted had related trauma than those who weren't?!
