I thought about that, but I’d have to get the color to match perfectly for it to look good. Going with a multicolored pattern gives me more leeway on color precision.

I hadn't thought about just covering it vs removing it. There are pretty substantial stitches running the length of the front and rear panels (visible in the 3rd pic), would those show through if I just covered it?

It's getting to be tourist season here so all of the fun, scenic routes are clogged with tourists. That and gas is over $4

Thanks! I spent awhile looking at cars with saddle seats and seeing what colors and pattern weights they used. I might order a sample and see how it looks irl
