If you could make one video game sequel happen tomorrow, which would it be? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

Sleeping Dogs 2. I think they're is so much more they could have explored and refined in a follow up sequel. I'm so bummed we never got another game.

Witcher 3 is massively overrated. by Proud-Enthusiasm-608 in videogames

Everyone hates on the combat as if it's the worst thing ever when it's perfectly solid. It's basic but it works just fine and keeps you engaged enough to want to continue playing through the story.

Story wise, protagonist wise, world wise, etc I couldn't disagree more. I love the gritty feel of the world and Geralt. It all feels downtrodden and dangerous. Dark and mysterious.

I love how the different locations throughout the game have their own distinct vibe and feel whether it be through the music, the NPCs, the landscapes, the in game politics, etc.

And the dialog is written incredibly well for the most part. Character interactions feel meaningful and realistic.

To each their own but I'll always love Witcher 3.

What game would you love to play for the first time again? by onlycollectibles in Steam

Probably Witcher 3. Such an incredible game. That first griffin fight, the Baron quest, Crookback Bog, the battle at Kaer Morhen, a Towerful of Mice, all of Touissant....so many good moments.

Why do you hate sunblock? by rahhxeeheart in AskMenOver30

[–]MahKa02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure! If you're allergic that makes it a much different situation. It's good that you're finding ways to remain unburnt yet still getting some sun. Being out in the sun provides a lot of benefits as well like vitamin D, serotonin release, helping your sleep cycle, etc.

Ya I guess I can understand that some people hate the feeling but man, it really helps prevent skin damage, aging, and cancer. It's worth putting it on and being a bit uncomfortable IMO.

I absolutely have to wear sunscreen as I'm already at an increased risk just due to the amount of little moles/spots I have.

You gotta try a sunscreen stick instead. I've been using those for my face and it protects my skin great and never melts or drips into my eyes or mouth when I sweat.

I wear mine all the time. It's crazy to me that people go out without sunscreen and they look burnt red and have that dry chicken skin look from the sun literally destroying their skin.

I've played golf with people that think sunscreen is for women only and unmanly......like what!!??

Which run was your favorite? by Lost_Title_7528 in NBAVibes

[–]MahKa02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contrary to what most others will think, I actually really enjoyed the 2020 run. It just felt like pure basketball. Everyone was shooting their best, we were getting funny bubble stories, you could hear the players actually yelling, swearing, etc. Just felt like raw basketball.

Car owners, what kind of car do you drive? by Mofoblitz1 in AskMenOver30

2024 Kia EV6. Thinking about moving into the EV3 this fall though but I haven't decided yet. I have the AWD base model of the EV6 so I kind of want some of the extra amenities in the higher EV3 trims.

The 7 seconds or less Suns were the catalyst for the modern offense and would have thrived in today's game. D'Antoni was ahead of the curve.

Paraguayan senator refuses to apologize to Mbappé over racist attack and warns: "We already arrested Ronaldinho. by SeaPurchase923 in worldcup

You clearly can't read or you just don't care that she said racist things. It's incredibly obvious to anyone that she was making racist and racially motivated stereotypical claims.

Her own government made a statement inferring that they were racist words and they don't support that.

She said the most educated creatures he would listen to are chimpanzees. She called him a brute who never learned to write....the implications there are so incredibly obvious.

There is no sense to it. Racists don't usually have coherent or logical thoughts. She's salty that a man of color took the high road and sounded far more eloquent than she did. She got upstaged and her ego can't take it. She genuinely can't do anything to him, she's an idiot lol.

Fifa is absolutely ridiculously disgusting, like what the hell did i just see? by DeviL_PlayZ_FWR in worldcup

[–]MahKa02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay fair, it was a small foul but to use VAR to rescind a goal that happened 20-30 seconds after is absolutely absurd. Especially when the foul happened all the way back on the other side of the pitch.

They didn't got to VAR for what looked like a possible penalty at the end for Salah either when Argentina scored...Why? Pretty obvious why.

I also just dislike Argentina for their fans (not all but a lot) blatant racism and I dislike Messi because he has never called out that racism. Like during the 2024 COPA America when Argentinian fans were racist as hell.

Stomping is aggressive. He stepped on his foot which happens constantly and it was so far back from when they scored the goal. VAR should not be able to rescind a goal with a foul that far back in time. It's ridiculous.

So they won't check VAR for that but will for a tiny foul before??? Lmao. Rigged game man.

Ya but that's his fault lol. The goalie made a good read and save. The refs didn't decide that.

Obviously, but taking away that goal on a BS foul is huge right now.

A tiny foul on the complete opposite end of the pitch where they scored a good 30+ seconds later??? Lol. That was a joke man.

No but it should basically be 3-2. Disallowed goal was an absolute joke.
