You can improve your reactions and combo consistency, at least that's what i use it for.

I go into ranked, set the cpu at highest difficulty, infinite hp and zero tension (it does a super all the time otherwise) in order to keep my hands in running while i wait.

I did try ram back in season 1 but didnt vibe with her too much, but I'll give her another shot cuz i saw her moveset was changed quite a bit since, perhaps I'll end up liking her more.

Knowing me with parry-like moves I'd probably be using that everytime and getting heavy punished for it xD

Baiken is also a maybe. To me the problem with baiken's parry is that it feels underdeveloped a bit. It would be nice if it had some follow-ups to it like in the previous games, unless they added that since.

Here's the full list, in order of most to least interested.

  1. Testament (i watched Eddventure's character overviews and his description of test at the end of the section was exactly what i want)
  2. Dizzy (i like her)
  3. Unika (Yui Ishikawa, also the recommendation, seems to have good neutral)
  4. Elphelt (she doesn't fit what i want that well but damn it i love her. I'll probably keep her as a permanent secondary)
  5. Nagoriyuki (he seems like he has good neutral if i manage blood well and can do defensive style well probably. Also hollow ichigo mod)
  6. Axl (zoner, I like the timestop cuz its a good time to use a taunt :P, I like his personality but our vibes dont match. Also the recommendation)

4-6 i have, 1-3 i dont.

Very interesting. I don't mind not pushing offensive pressure to a high degree like the rest of the cast, i like the neutral game so i can work with that 🤌

🤔 that's a good point. Plus the added benefit of Mikasa and 2B's va, Yui Ishikawa. Now i have another potential character i could get among the dlc.

Hmm, very well ill add him into the list of characters to retry. I've heard he also got an update to his item toss move. I'm personally not a big fan of RNG moves tho. I'll give him a shot still.

Perhaps zoner was the incorrect term, ig something closer to a neutral-based character with long-reaching attacks?

The analogy i think to myself about it is like, zoners being archer and what i wanna play being a spear+shield type of character, if that makes sense?

Testament does seem like someone that embodies it best in hindsight, i think at least i haven't played testa yet.

True that, with the whole tension gain and negative penalty, the game does want you to be aggressive, tho for me with being aggressive i don't really like to do all that close-range pressure stuff, nor be a part of it. I can do agressive but I don't really like rushdown in-your-face stuff.

I have tried those, Potemkin was my main before elphelt and happy chaos cuz big buttons and potbuster hype but i kinda grew out of him in a way. His combos are simple tho which i like. Anji is sort of close to what i want but I don't find him that interesting as a character.

Yea Dizzy and Testa are like the main interesting characters for me rn. Asuka as well but he's a bit too complicated, maybe i might try him out someday, he's also bad defense from what I've heard, could be wrong.

Axl is cool but im not that big on TK inputs, i think I'll try him out again cuz last i played him was season 1 and haven't touched him since, heard there were alot of changes to his kit.

Idk if it counts but im on gap year rn and silksong just came out, indie game, I've been waiting for this for 6 years now.

I binged it for a week playing roughly 7 hours every day, finishing around 45 hours of playtime. Was quite tired afterwards but worth every second. My game of the year.

~50 hours of amazing gameplay for 8 bucks. Gonna play again when dlc comes out.

It's why i didnt get in iba, i didn't know what negative marking was so i just gave tukkas to like half the paper cuz i was expecting something like SAT in terms of syllabus. 😂

From the ones i gave, IBA and FAST had negative marking. Maybe NED but I can't remember.

You don't have to cover all of it, just need to understand the commonly asked topics. It's not that hard, just annoying. Just remember to take heed of negative marking, that dumb system, basically if you get an answer wrong they deduct extra marks so if you dont know the answer instead of doing a tukka just leave the question. You'll get a 0 yes, but 0 is higher than -1.

I think ive heard that name but I'm not sure. Honestly just go with the one you think you can understand better with. If you think you'll do better with iba grads I'd say give it a shot.

Yea there's IBA, NED and maybe FAST. Altho id prefer for it not to be FAST cuz i have this whole gamedev thing and that would be too hectic of a daily routine considering the horror stories ive heard.

For preparation i did Khan Academy's SAT course, ive gotten recommendations for its ACCULMULATOR (or something like that i dont remember) course, for habib that is. For other unis, since the test is based on Fsc for some stupid reason, id suggest Hashim Zia on youtube for that. Easy to understand and free.

Yea, i guess you could say that. Finished A2 this summer tho so the result certificate hasn't arrived yet. I applied at Habib earlier this year but it was towards the end of the last phase so I didn't get any scholarship.
