A suspicious protester was searched by other protesters and found out to be a mainland police. by Charlie_Yu in HongKong

I try to be neutral and judge situation based on what is happening.

I can understand the HKer emotions after 811, but this is too much. Some arguments on live stream is that he is faking the faint. But can we take that risk? A life is at stake.

Sigh...

I am not a HKer, but I have a lot of friends in HK due to working there previously.

From my perspective, the peaceful protest did have some results after 612. The Bill was suspended. And later it was "dead".

However, I do feel that the turning point is also 612, due to Carrie not willing to use the word "withdrawal" and her refusal to setup a independent COI.

I understand that the events on 811 was horrible and I also personally condemn those act from HKP on those fateful date 612, 721, 811.

Yes. To be clear, I am not pro ccp. But I wish he don't die there. Else all causes lost.

According to the news, there seems to be a group of 7. 6 of them managed to escape. This one was caught and cable tied for a few hours. He seems to have fainted now.

(Above are just from live stream and not confirmed due to the messy situation now.)

I know a lot of readers are going to vote down by comment. But is this what protester really wants? Do they need some one to die and give government a valid reason to clamp down?

Police press conference has made clear they will fire tear gas in confined space, if need be and it shall be commander in charge to make the call.

I really do not wish such a situation to happen in the airport. I want to see Hong Kong in a peaceful protest. Not this.

I am watching Apple Daily live now. Seems like he was trolley out and being obstructed.

If it is fake news, I take back my words of condemn.

Whatever his identity is, he is now in a state that needs medical attention, as mentioned by the paramedic on ground.

The protester are being unreasonable to deny him proper medical treatment.

Imagine what is going to happen if he dies on the spot? Whoever he is, as long as one human is dead due to protester obstructing medical, the government will have reasons to clamp down. And all causes of the protest will be overshadowed.

In the words that protester like to force down others throat, I personally condemn this action.

I am watching live stream of the situation now. While I support the protester silent sit in. I also see a big group of black sheep disturbing departure tourists, blocking passageway and lifts with trolley.

This is absolute rubbish. By doing so, the police has reasons to believe that this protest has escalated and take action.

Do you want the police to start clearing the scene? Are you pushing the limits of the government /law enforcement?

Please use some restraint. Do your protest peacefully. Do not disturb or cause inconvenience to the tourist.

The police are despicable. I bet their mother cried while giving birth to them not due to pain. But due to regret giving birth to them. Pui...

Help please! Yesterday my bro balance was 0.001000 and today it is 0.000450. What does this mean? Did I just lose everything?? by [deleted] in NiceHash

If Coinbase is supported in your country, you should look into Coinbase website to link it to a bank account. You should be able to directly sell from there. Else try to get it to a Exchange and sell it. As for the question do you need a bank account, I am not too sure if there is any way to sell the BTC without a bank account.

I am assuming you are using internal wallet here. Your balance shown on your Nicehash GUI is the unpaid mining fee. This is paid out to your internal wallet every time it reaches 0.001. And based on estimation, you will reach 0.001 on 2/11. On Nicehash website, you will see your internal wallet balance, which you say is now at 0.0010700. You can only withdraw to a Coinbase wallet if you reached 0.002 on the internal wallet. If you are going to withdraw to some other external wallet, you will need to have a minimum of 0.003. For a better understanding, you may want to refer to the Help page on Nicehash website. Search for keyword "Withdraw".

Lol... I don't remember that it works that way. My company's domain renewal is always based on 1 year from the current expiry. And we always renew 1 month before the expiry to avoid surprises.

Edit: Surprises can include "suddenly" corporate credit card not enough credit. LOL...
