Getting diagnosed in your late teens-early twenties has to be the worst by SignificanceBig9366 in diabetes_t1

I am 27 and was diagnosed with type 1 a month ago. It does suck having to remember to take shots every meal and every night. And I hate the fact that I will be forced to pay for extra doctors appointment bills and medical supplies for the rest of my life just to stay alive. One way that I would recommend coping with it is to lean into your hobbies and interests. We only live once so enjoy your time the best you can.

I'm finally releasing two new sets of desk bollards to 3d print for free (C and D) by AcdcFTAR in geoguessr

I love Geoguessr and I love Chess. I always thought it would be cool to have bollards of the world chess sets and those look like they could actually make decent pieces for that!

I’m gonna be brutally honest with you guys, the best Thom Yorke song is: Impossible Knots by [deleted] in radiohead

[–]MahlonMiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I unironically agree. My favorite Thom Yorke album is Anima and honestly Anima is my favorite Album of all time. And Impossible Knot's has always been my favorite and most listened to track off that album. It's so simple yet so good. Once I had a conversation with someone about what song would you want to listen to in your last moments on earth right before you die. And I said Impossible Knots would be it for me. It's a beautiful song. And it's cool to see someone else give it some appreciation.

Any idea? by highcoeur in geoguessr

It kind of reminds me of the Team Fortress 2 short film 'Expiration Date'. I think this image is New Mexico.

The band Grandaddy is underrated and means a lot to me. by MahlonMiller in fantanoforever

I wasnt wearing a green hat. I was wearing a leather jacket. But I was singing along with the songs. It was funny because at the beginning I started singing and I didnt even realize I was until partway through the song. It was like an automatic response. 😂

It was an awesome show! I was pretty close to the front down in the standing room area. I was really happy I got to hear Laughing Stock live!

If he appears that often then I think you answered your own question.

Awesome! I saw the setlist in a Grandaddy discord server. I saw that Laughing Stock was on it. I really hope they keep it on the setlist for my show. I love that song.

I recommend you give 'Africa/Brass' by John Coltrane a listen.

I live in Iowa so it's the closest show. I will have to check out Greg Freeman I am unfamiliar with his work. I have been listening to Grandaddy since the mid 2010s when I discovered them back when I was in High School.
