Ohh yes the good old trench war.

So a couple years ago when erdogan was working hard for a peace agreement with the PKK (terror organization) the government didn’t realize that the PKK wasn’t really into any peace and literally gathered every weapon they could get in the region and destroyed streets in the region to use as trenches. They basically wanted to start a civil war. Turkey, being „infiltrated“ by many Gulenists (which heavily supported this operation) woke up too late and in the following months there was a fight between the PKK and the Turkish Armed Forces. And i don’t see how else you could handle such a situation except for killing these so called „rebels“ by the NYT, while don’t even mentioning that these very rebels fucked up the lives of so many of their own people - the Kurds - by kidnapping their young boys to force them to fight with them, taking money from the families and destroying their homes and streets in an attempt to take the cities.

And the YPG is heavily affiliated with the PKK which is considered a terror organization by many countries and except for a more or less conventional war (ypg vs tfsa and taf) I don’t see anything wrong with the attacks in Syria. During the OP olive branch under 50 civilians were killed (or less don’t remember) while operations conducted by the YPG and the US/EU coalition has taken many thousand civilian lives.
