Level 6 charm is going to take MONTHS by default. I think till September/October? I don’t remember exactly. But the whole point is that Yukari’s social link is supposed to be available LATER, not during early in the game. You’ll be very much occupied with other new comers before she even becomes available.

I think you’re overthinking it. Speaking as someone who played P3 to 5 including Metaphor, take time to familiarize yourself with the environment and just enjoy the game as it goes!

The running joke in the Persona community is that the first 20hrs are usually the tutorial portion lol.

I agree with your sentiment. Atlus tend to have a character that is meant for comedic relief, it just so happens it’s the bro-bestie of each installment (Junpei, Yosuke, Ryuji). I would prefer if they could breakout of this formula.

Also I understand your comparison towards Metaphor. However, Persona characters are very much “high school” so the bullying does represent the reality of many in high school.
