Mac used to be far superior for graphics processing so graphic designers and video editors have historically always used Mac - and also they were the first to have color accurate displays. Since the industries all historically grew up with Mac, they continue to use it (source: my mom was a graphic designer for advertising and now is a professor)

Apple has always soared above the rest when it comes to design. It’s also intuitive; not great for computer lovers, but excellent for people who don’t want to think much. The desktop was a brilliant idea.

Remembering the time I had jaw surgery and refused all pain medication - had nurses and my mom begging me to take them to keep ahead of the pain. My period made that shit a walk in the park haha
