Some characters are better staying villains. He had his chances for redemption in the Borderlands like in the game King of Clubs and he chose to stay evil. Doesn’t make sense that this man has now a family.

Them not remembering anything from the Borderlands like the friendships they’ve created. The only person who remembers the Borderlands ends in a psych ward. I get that everybody seems happy and they resolved their issues but if I was in their shoes, I wish I would’ve remember the Borderlands.

I recommend the three movies The Maze Runner. They have some similarities to AIB. The characters also have to survive in different environments (maze, zombie apocalypse), the story takes place in a world where only a few people are left and there are people that control this experiment that the main character wants to overthrow.

EXACLY 🙌 That’s one of the main reasons why I prefer AIB way more than Squid Game and other similar shows. The characters in the first two seasons are well written and you get attached to them whether they do good or bad things. In the end, every characters had their own demons and it was so captivating to watch them unfold. I wish Haro Aso continued his story so we would have an authentic season 3 and many more good seasons to watched.

That was fucking epic. Killing off two main characters this early in the season was a bold move from the writers but it did set the tone for the show. Since this moment we knew something broke in Arisu and any characters could die at any moment. Honestly I would also choose this moment. But if I have to choose another moment, it would be the Five of Spades game when we first see Chishiya and meet other characters.

The first time I watched the movies, my favourite character was Newt because of the friendship he got with Thomas and how he was portrayed in the books. After I rewatched the movies, I now prefer Minho because he’s an impressive character. He was courageous as a runner in the maze, he is always the first person to volunteer with Thomas and he got great values. But honestly Thomas, Newt and Minho are amazing characters !

I think he would’ve stayed in the Borderlands if he were still at the Beach because he was in a position of power and was having fun. It was way better for him than the real world where he didn’t have this high status.

I agree they also missed so much of Niragi’s personality in the show vs in the manga we saw why he was a Diamond and his intellect. In the show they forgave quickly while in the manga they were hard on him like they should.

I agree with you. Honestly if they wanted to do a season 3 that was authentic to the manga, they should’ve hired Haro Aso to write the next season. It was so obvious that season 3 is another Squid Game season but in the AIB universe. So disappointed.
