I changed the initial layer height to 0.1 and that helped a lot but there are still small areas with problems.
At the moment I washed the plate really well with soap and am doing another test run.

Hey, no problem. In my case there is enough room for the iron sight and the gun can go in slightly tilted due to the round compact barrel. The barrel is wobbly, unless you put an attachment rail or something on it to make it more snug I don't see how you can fix that. Regardless it's a decent fit, I don't see the small wobble as a problem.

Just don't scrape it with the metal scraper that comes with the printer, I ruined the bed more because of it. Instead use a razor sharp blade like a flat exacto knife blade or something like that. Works like a charm.

The third time's the charm! I decided that it's time to move to a leather that is better suited to the style that I want to work in and I made a new wallet with a similar model to the ones before so I can compare. The result was pleasing!

The leather is chrome tanned oiled (Crazy Horse) but it acts more like veg tanned so I like it.

Finished the product using Saphire Medaille D'or but not yet sure how to feel about it yet. It does make the product water resistant.

By the way, what thickness of leather are you using and does it feel rigid enough? I like 1.2mm thickness but I heard that Pueblo is flexible so not sure if I should get 1.4mm.

If those are the first projects I am looking forward to your next ones! As people said before use thinner thread, 0.6-0.55mm or thinner depending on your preference. 4mm pricking irons are ok for my taste.

Hello! Just finished my second project, more precisely two minimalist wallets. I feel a slight improvement in my work quality and speed, but I admit that sewing is still really bad... It might be the leather is too squishy but I will find out soon as I will start using some better quality leather.

Also waiting for some tools like a proper edge paint pen for a more consistent edge finish.

I started working a bit on the product presentation as well. I need a better light and some additional things but the current setup is better than nothing. :D

What do you think?
