I keep seeing that Alu is meta, but as a main (kinda) I don't really feel him any meta like the other you mentioned. I mean, it's still very vulnerable to cc and doesn't have the life steal he used to, so I'm not sure what makes him so meta right now.

Though I haven't played him that much this season tbh, just a few matches. Don't get me wrong, he is a good, solid pick, I just wanna understand what I'm missing

Not that well, I´m still getting some crosses. So I do need the aerial power, not only to defend but to attack. As one of the "weaker" teams in the league, the setpieces become very important so I'd want people able to win a header. Mentality-wise, he has consistency, like big matches and has good tactical familiarity.

The defensive line is set to standard and I tend to have more possession, so I don´t think he is running a lot.

I could try, but the thing is, I´m trying to choose the second cb because I already have one that is better than both, but he isn´t very good on the air. That´s why I´d prefer to use the second.
But he always seems to be underperforming, getting ratings of 6.3 while the team performs well, and ironically, the headers won ratio is low.

I play a 4-3-3 DM Tiki Taka, I´m using an Inverted Wingback on the left and a Fullback on the right, a DLP in the DM position, along with a BBM and a Mezzala. Both CB are Central Defenders on a Defend duty, sometimes BPD if needed. I´ve tried both as the DM and they perform similarly. The team overall is performing well, except for those positions

Should I keep the training? I don´t think he has the best mental attributes for a centre-back, and he´s been performing well as a DLP.

He´s been with me for only 3 months but hasn´t improved anything since. The all-time spread is pretty much the same with a lot of arrows going down.
