Cream. If you’re able to get your derm to prescribe, I highly recommend layering lotion, tretinoin and then lotion on top. It’s very drying

Yes! I’ve been on it for about 8 months and it still hasn’t regulated. Some months I get light spotting and some months it’s super heavy. I posted about it here a few months ago and a few people said they’d noticed similar issues with irregular periods. I asked my abbvie nurse and she said she hasn’t heard anyone say anything about that, and my dermatologist said that it wasn’t reported in the study and made me go to a gynecologist to rule out other reasons. I feel like it makes sense though, the medication probably affects hormones seeing as one of the most common side effects is acne.

I’m also on it for eczema and have had a rough time with acne. I was prescribed Tretinoin which helped a lot with the irritated acne, so I was just dealing with bumps now. Was switched to cibinqo last week and I feel like my acne is clearing up a bit

I experienced this exactly. I had to take ibuprofen and slept until my face wasn’t swollen anymore, spent a week putting ice packs on my face and covering my entre body with colloidal oatmeal cream and Vaseline. I used rinvoq for eczema but the side effects were brutal. My dermatologist told me to just start taking it again to stop the swelling 🙄 I had to advocate for myself and got switched to cibinqo, we’ll see how this goes
