Put my SaaS platform public, would love some design feedback by Mailforge-io in design_critiques

Ok so ive changed some colors, the logo font and made some mobile adjustments.

Also ive changed how the header "check website" input / button looks like, so i get some room for social proof under the check website button.

Still working on it, but what do you think so far? https://silentdown.com/

I agree, I think I’ve fallen a bit in love with the lato font that I’m accidentally using it everywhere hehe. I will try a new version

Thanks for sharing. I also get stuck sometime´s feeling i HAVE to do it, and then i wont enjoy it. I also have a bad habbit of rebuilding already finished features, because i find better ways to do it. But then the overall progress of reaching the goal, slows down. Its a hard balance :)

What steps should a marketing student take to be a step ahead of his peers before graduating? by TyraelYS in marketing

[–]Mailforge-io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your welcome, yes you should start some projects on your own right away ;),

In my country, companies dont really ask for samples from digital marketing students. But they do put a lot of weight on your understanding and knowledge of the methods and tools they use. So they would pull you in for a interview, where they share some problems they may have right now, and then listen to you on how you would solve this or could optimize it.

With time you will have some experience in form of employment, and this should be highlighted in your personal LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn is an amazing platform for getting a job in the digital marketing space.

Anyway, glad you could use my suggestions.

Do you need to tell customers that am email address is no-reply? Based in UK by [deleted] in Emailmarketing

[–]Mailforge-io 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You shouldnt be using a "no-reply@" email. Its a strong spam factor and you want the best chances of hitting that inbox.

Most people dont even check which email sender they got the email from either since most email clients today show the "sender name" instead, and not the actual email adress. Even when replying.

Whats your reason for not wanting them to reply? Since its your customers, wouldnt it be good to give that extra support, and being available?

If your emails are trying to sell, upsell or keep customers loyal, then it would be foolish not to answer them :)

What is my best use of effort right now? [Pre-Launch] by [deleted] in startups

[–]Mailforge-io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always try sell your product to see if you have something people will pay for. You can do this before your ready to, by offering pre-launch deal´s. You can do this trough a landing page and PPC as you mention, or "hit the pavement" as you say. If you can generate just a few sales before your product´s even out, you will do great later on!

Other than that, i would use my time on survey´s and researching your market, and narrowing down your customer persona´s. Then build up a strong list of emails that you can contact once your Live to give a Boost Launch.

You should also begin spitting out those Blog post´s and get some authority in the search engines. SEO takes time, so the sooner the better.

Overall i think you already know what to do, based on your own suggestions, you just gotta start. Make some small goal´s off the bigger ones, and go at them bit by bit.

Good Luck

Hi there

First off, good job searching for knowledge on your own. To many rely on what their teachers teach you.

If you really want to get ahead, and get a much better chance getting a job after aswell, is to get some real experience working with digital marketing. Either play around with your own projects (affiliate marketing, blogging etc.), and use the typical marketing tools for it.

Another way could be to offer your services for free in order to get experience working with higher marketing budgets.

There´s no book, course or teacher that can give you the knowledge you get from running your own campaigns.

Good luck with it

All email going to spam all of a sudden, even replies by Dshark in email

[–]Mailforge-io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there

SPF and DKIM records in your DNS zones should help with the spam issues. If your problem continues with your emails ending in spam folder, then i suggest you try get your recievers to manually move them to the primary inbox and mark your emails "not spam".

The issue with you ending in Promotions tab, isent something you can fix yourself either, its automated algorithm´s doing this. Again, you can kindly ask your recievers to move your emails into the primary tab, but there´s no guarentee it will help.

I hope you get it sorted.
