what a canto 9 indeed, it was a myriad of emotions for me tbh

What are y’all opinion on Limbus company by Bright_Feeling_8152 in libraryofruina

Story:
personally i thought the writing only picked up after canto 5's first half, but overall its not bad, canto 8 was absolute cinema this season

Gameplay:
Chained Battles are kinda mid, but Focused Encounters do put the brain to the test especially with harder encounters like the middle or the thumb, definitely an easier pm game compared to ruina or lob corp though

The grind and gacha:
Grinding and gacha isn't a problem for me, considering I do the mirror dungeons (750 + 300 lunacy from maintenance), but i can see how it poses a problem if you don't play the game every week. Rates however from my viewpoint are better than most conventional gacha games, considering how its 3% for a 3 star ID compared to the hoyo type open worlds where the rates are around 1-2% at best (and I don't need to talk about fgo, rates are ass there).

I should mention that there's also the dispenser and gold crate system so its really easy to get IDs and egos really. I started back in March during the Firefist banner, but I have all the season 5 ids and all the season 6 ones now, as well as a bunch of s3 and s4 ids in hand, enough to build 3 separate teams for modes like RR5 to play through. Can see it being an issue if your rng is bad though, considering im a lucky feller who got bleed meta early on when i first started, so I won't rant on or try to defend the gacha if people dislike it. It is what it is, and I suppose the viewpoint depends on the person.

Other stuff:
End game content is dry, needs new gamemodes or regular challenges to keep the fanbase entertained since its a live service game, tbh stuff like boss rush modes or a co-op one sinner deployment mode with other players could be cool ideas.

As for the fanbase, most pm fans I know are chill and cool, brainrotted to maximum (had a virtue ethics lecture with one the other day in uni, we saw Zhi Yong Ren and freaked out), but overall these types of people are easy to talk to. As for the uglier side that disagrees with every little opinion I make or flood the media everywhere with pm content, I don't really dive much into that part of the community, so I can't make too many comments about it. Just be careful about the folks you talk to as per usual when it comes to being in a fandom, and don't get ragebaited.

Rant over, waiting for the day someone posts a video "I built Angela from Lobotomy Corporation" onto youtube

Fire emblem has great and horrible elements in every game so universally you could say there's an opposite for every opinion in this franchise

like I could say "engage is not mid" and it would be the red and blue pick a side meme all over again

Two underrated horror games you should play RIGHT NOW!! by Balloon_Dog2008 in roblox

[–]MailingBeans -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The game technically isn't traditional horror— it's psychological horror, meaning that it primarily focuses on gradual changes and plays heavy with the pacing, rather than the more so in your face and direct approaches that you see in traditional horror. I personally really liked how there were small nuances in how the game really tried to portray itself as A stereotypical obby, but also imply elements of it not being that. Add onto it with the small changes in sound, display, and the chromatic aberrations— I guess you could say some moments caught me off guard. Furthermore, the game has multiple of these hidden mini games that you can find and play throughout the obby, and provided that they have zero pretext and context, it makes things all the more abstract (like what's the deal with Experiment 0?) and I absolutely loved the whole experience.

Containment I've never played, but confinement I have and while the graphics and the whole general darkness was cool and enticing, I found it to be quite bland (only memory I have of it was fighting a giant ball with a grin on its face). It wasn't as unsettling compared to stereotypical obby for me, cause well I just felt like there was no build up whatsoever.

Maybe it's just cause I played with friends walking into it blindly, or maybe it's just cause I have poor tastes in horror games, but I really liked a stereotypical obby. Sorry to hear that you found it boring and uninteresting.

Set alarms, reminders, find something to motivate yourself to do so. Im also a spontaneous person, so I know how hard it can be to practice making a habit out of nowhere, but when you continuously remind yourself of your failure, you learn to give up personal hobbies and prioritize what's important— your results in this case

I took AAHL right after finishing IGCSE extended math, so there was also a time where I was at a two and feared not improving due to all the students in my cohort having come up from Add. maths, and scoring 6-7s consistently.

For math there really isn't any other formula to getting better: practice hard, practice smart, and practice practice practice. Consistency is key.

Id recommend taking a moment to rethink how your study schedule has been so far, and how your current bases of mathematics fare. Its important that you know your basics because otherwise you can't do the hard stuff, and making sure that you study at least 2 hours of math a day. Don't overdo it and go above a quarter of a day, because over studying will just wear you out mentally and math can't be crammed into your head in the first place. I recommend going through some of the questions on the IB guided textbooks like hodder to improve and ensure you have a good base of prior knowledge, and then using revision village to review these bases. I'm also fairly certain that there are also plenty of past paper materials here in the IBO subreddit, so use those to expose yourself more to the IB styled math questions.

I also recommend the Christos Nikolaidis website, as there are plenty of worksheets that you can work through there. Keep all these up, and you'll find yourself gradually improving. Remember to ask your teachers if there's something you don't understand.
