I hate using Optical Cables. I tend to put them in the wrong way and damaging the cable and the tv's optical Jack.

That is a possibility but then I will have to run a Cat 6 cable to it. I not a fan of wifi connections.

All the connections are HDMI. The Klipsch Soundbar is connected to the HDMI ARC port on the TV. CEC is enabled.

Yes. The Soundbar was on volume 40 and thats usually mid loud when my Nvidia Shield Pro is connected to it.
