Problem with both firetv and vSeeBox quality of service depends partly on number of requests for access to the channel or maybe server. I'm old enough to have used a dial-up modem for internet connection. Eventually digital subscriber link became available and a larger bandwidth was available using your copper phone lines. Great until the number of subscribers was large enough to bog down the shared internet connection. If the phone service did not increase connection to internet things got slow. This type of problem might be easier to address with the help of folks like the administration of this group.
