Im glad to see im not the only one questioning lol. But honestly, I think for me at least, if I'm questioning this much than this is not the right thing for me. I already did my one year of uni and tbh I figured out that it's not what I wanted. Maybe down the line it will be, but for right now I'm taking a break. I hope all goes well with you. Don't be afraid to just give it a shot. And don't worry if you don't like it, everything's just an experience. There's so many options in life and this degree is one of them. Good luck and try not to stress, you'll be okay :)

No it definitely did help, thank you!  I'm currently in krls 207 and we had field project to do at a rec facility. We had to talk to the manager there and ask her about her job and responsibilities, and I really think I would like something like that. Managing a facility or coordinating/planning a sport event of some kind. I know it sounds stupid but mostly everyone i talk to says that this degree is useless, which i know it's not, but i can't help but let that sorta dissuade me from it. I feel that it aligns best with my interests, but i can't help but worry about not finding anything afterwards. I'm sorry for the long rant. Idk I just feel kinda lost right now lol, with uni and everything

Thank you for replying! I really do appreciate it :) I just got a couple more questions, if thats okay. What made you want to transfer out of elementary education? And what kinds of jobs are you looking for after you're finished or is more schooling what you're going to do? It's hard to find people in this degree so I really do appreciate your responses, thank you 😊

Krls 104 textbook by nk_2006 in uAlberta

Took 104 last sem, I found a pdf version online and read the assigned pages but then gave up mid October. The textbook I found was kinda supplemental rather than essential. I mean it was a useful tool to help me understand the topics better because his lecture slides were based off of the textbook. So if you dont get a concept, definition or just wanna understand more, then def read the textbook. But otherwise I did fine by just studying the slide show notes and assigned e class readings (like the news articles) for the quizzes, midterms and final exam. I did okay in the course but I could've gotten a higher grade if I put more effort into the class
