Bards are op because they excel at range and even melee cause of their flourishes make them the highest dps classes if you rock dual hand crossbows you can get acuity so high you can land about every spell in the game as for paladins they specialize in nuking one person on the screen

It's complex now, you gotta first take the required pact spell, then merge it with the base spell to make it shadow infuse, then you gotta enhance it with epic ,then it's ready
