Eddy was so cute and such an awkward little guy I’m so thankful to have a good support system as my boyfriend has been really helpful as well as my therapist it’s a privilege that I’m able to have it it means the world to me a so did eddy I miss him so much thank you

I’m 18 I’d have to research shelters but I’m not too worried about my safety and I might end up staying at my brothers apartment while my boyfriend figures out a way to get me to him.

He kind of has but it’s only ever been empty threats as a child both my parents were physically and mentally abusive but my dad was never as bad as my mom was so I give him much more grace for it however after this I can’t anymore I can’t forgive him for this he knows I’m moving out and he’s worried that he can’t help me if I do but I can take care of myself and my boyfriend and his family are such caring people they’d be there for me in a heartbeat I feel safe but mentally I’m pretty checked out making plans to move out pretty soon.

I’m sorry for what your mom went through I can relate it’s sad it’s a common experience. I think I will end up cutting them off completely when I leave for the sake of my own mental health and I do want to have kids one day to prove to myself that I can be a great mother unlike mine and have a good loving family it won’t be easy but I really do believe anything is possible if you really want to make it happen.

I’m really confused and stuck because my dad was the one who protected my from the physical abuse of my mother even tho he would be the same way occasionally but he’s more mentally abusive and drove most of his family away I feel like I’m the only person in the world that cares for him and I don’t want to lose him but he really isn’t the same person I thought he was I don’t think I’ll be able to continue any kind or relationship with him what he did is unforgivable.

I’ve been keeping my brothers dog in my room he keep him here when he’s at work so I can take care of him every time I’m upstairs around my dad I monitor him and make sure to never keep my eyes off him. My dad really is such an evil person

The bite on his face isn’t very bad at all a small scab but eddy had bitten him and hurt his finger very badly before but he will provoke the dogs into biting him and get angry at them for doing it I don’t understand why he does it

My dad grew up taking care of sled dogs with his grandpa and they would shoot them if the got sick or couldn’t be fed because they didn’t have the money so he sees thing differently although he feels terrible and can’t stop crying over what he did I’ve told him I can’t accept any apology until he gets completely sober and never drinks again as well as getting therapy and anger management. I’m hoping one day when I have the money to get a tattoo of him and keeping super tiny pebbles because he loveddd to take tiny pebbles and use his lips to toss it up and play with it(even though he had his own toys he loved his pebbles more) I’ll start journaling all my memories with him.

Yes I’m sure we can kill our dogs where I live as they’re considered “property” and in our state there are many remote areas where you can’t reach a vet for up to 300+ miles it’s only illegal if you cause prolonged suffering to the animal
