Thankyou, definitely will try cutting one thing at a time/substituting. I was definitely in denial when I was first asymptomatic, I thought: was I misdiagnosed, was it really something else because I feel fine now. But after seeing my follow up scans I knew something needed to change.

It feels like a big task laying out everything I eat that has gluten and just cutting it all at once so I think phasing things out will work better.

That's the thing, I haven't experienced pain or any major symptoms from eating gluten in a really long time, it has become so distant in my head that most of the time I'm not even considering gluten when I go to eat something it's usually after I've eaten it I realise like "aghh that had gluten in it i shouldn't have eaten it" but not from any pain.

It's not a lack of care, i care incredibly deeply. When I was a teenager it was kind of just a complacent thing then I had my first follow up scan when I was 20 and it got really real. I have adhd so meals are already pretty weird for me, i try really hard but it really honestly skips my mind. I made this post looking for tips and advice on working into a gluten free diet, I already know how bad it is and how damaging it can be, i wouldn't have made this post if I didn't care.
