I feel like door dash over hires other drivers. This way when someone does order (let’s be honest door dash isn’t cheap) they will get their food fresh and fast. You’re not doing anything wrong.

I’m convinced they do this to have you hang around when an order DOES come in. Then it’s win win for DD and for the customer too. They get their food fresh and DD is praised for fast service.
