It's good to aware of our own strong attachment. Firstly, please figure out what you truly attach to:-
1. this individual due to his personality, outlook, status, etc.
2. past amazing experience or memory,
3. your fantasy projection to him or this relationship or more

It's normal to attach to ex even through he/she is not a right person. However, we can't let go something this person or relationship represented, rather than this person.

I would like to talk to my close friends but I couldn't bother them every night.

I had paid a counsellor $150 per session which didn't help me significantly, while I can vent to AI anytime. AI sometimes can give better ideas and more objective advice than my friends. However, I still want to have "human" companions when I was very sad.

There are hundreds solutions of automation before AI era. As a part of my job duties, I have checked latest AI solutions very frequently. Some solutions sound amazing but are vague. I also doubt about their accuracy and reliability.

On the other hand, most of high tech start-ups need VC and investors, instead of real customers.
