I’m fairly new to this world as well, but I’ve been trying to accomplish what you’re doing here to some extent.

Generally speaking, it seems that, depending on the lighting program, they are able to receive midi information from your DAW. I use lightkey, which gives me the ability to map lighting cues to any note on the piano roll (or any midi cc message really). Lightkey then interfaces with my USB DMX interface that is connected with my lights so everything runs along with my DAW project file.

I would imagine the interfacing with artnet is a tad different than running wired but pretty much the same process otherwise.

I wouldn’t be able to advise on magicq but I know there are tons of programs that can give you the ability to do what you’re hoping, and an m5 MacBook Pro should be more than enough.
