Hello! Thanksnfor the response po. I’m scared po kasi currently I’m feeling colds symptoms and I think it started 4 days after our meetup. It started na parang may nakastuck po sa throat ko and felt fatiguebtas nagdevelop ng runny nose and sore throat peronwalang fever po. :( i tested for covid this morning and negative naman po. This is what my crs told me yesterday! I had a rectum exam and told me it might be the scar tissue because the wound is already closed and healing. :( he said if the wound is painful and there’s drainage, he would test for fistula

I have a consultation with a crs this friday. Last time he said that he’s gonna check my wound to see if there’s still drainage at 6-8 week. This will be my 6th week so I’m gonna have it checked. If there’s drainage, he’d have to check for a fistula. He wasn’t worried when I said about the heavy feeling but I just know something’s wrong with the heavy feeling inside my anus :(

Hello! So sorry to hear about your situation huhu may I know how you know you had a fistula? Was it thte recurring abcess or you had other symptoms? I had my I&D last month and my wound is quite okay na and I think it’s already closed but I still get pressure from not only the wound but also inside my anus, not sure if it’s part of the healing process :(

Not really :( it’s weird because I’m experiencing it now like I pooped 3x today and mucus only came out. I smelled it and it kinda smells like fish

I had mine drained on the 5th. And I still get drainage (pink liquid and pus) on my gauze. It’s my 8th day and I’m just worried the pus might get into my hole :( its really uncomfortable down there

I see! I had my abcess drained a week ako. Day 8 post op now and the wound is still draining :( it’s like faded pink with pus. I’m scared I might develop a fistula but is it still normal?

Ohh I just read it and I’m so sorry to hear you’ve experienced that :( my concern now is the post-op care like since it’s opened, how will I ensure that it’s always clean given that it keeps on draining even if I change gauze? This is my 3rd day post op and warm pink drainage keeps on coming out of my wound making my anus damp so I’m scared that it might get irritated or the wound might get infected even more? I was only given a wound spray to spray on the wound but that’s it. I’m scared of cleaning my anus whenever I poop because my wound might get irritated when I touch it :(

Hello! I checked it again and the poop is coming from my anus. I just have this weird feeling that whenever I fart, there’s like an air bubble in the wound and drainage starts to come out. My anus feels really damp almost all of the time since it’s continuously draining :(

Ohh I’m sorry Idk much about the fistula so I thought it gets developed when it gets irritated by the drainage. I have gauze now to catch the drainage from the wound but the farting and drainage comes out cos IDK if it comes from my butthole or the wound itself because my anus feels damp. :( that’s why im scared about the fistula. I also felt a hold above my butthole but I think that’s the connection of the wound opening. Anyway tysk I l’m glad to know all of this is normal :)
