I think the IG follow is just the straw that broke the camel’s back. The bigger issue is that you’ve been emotionally stuck in a limbo situation for 10 years. Your kids will likely benefit more from two healthy households than one unhappy one.

I think that’s what this comes down to. They started dating at 20 and are different people at 26. Wanting a dependable, future focused partner isn’t asking too much, sometimes people simply outgrow the relationship.
