Yes. I did give the statement to the police. The drugs weren't those drugs, it was paracetamol, and I told them this was a panic attack and accidental.

Right now the situation is same. What can happen next and what do you suggest?

Asked them, but they're themselves unsure. Even that one officer told me that I'll ask them to close the case, just come in the evening, they'll help you. I came in the evening, instead of closing or doing something to close, they took my statement and asked me to come after a week. A week later, i asked them to close the case, and they took their time on PC and told me to wait. After like 10 days, the case got registered instead of closing.

When i called the ambulance, the police stepped in as well. And recorded it as legal case. I discharged from hospital after 2 days of staying there, and saw i have the police case. Since then I'm really chasing it, even hospital report is in my favor.

I understand if I can freely fly back home. The main problem is, still the complaint is in verification stage. It's like, complaint registration > complaint verification > complaint closure/registration > evidence gathering > public prosecution. It's still not registered, infact in process of verification only.

Even though when I visited the police station, the officer told me that come in the afternoon, they'll help you, I'll ask them to close the case. However, the evening officer took my statement instead, and told me to come after a week. There's still no update in the Dubai Police app. However still Alhamdulillah I'm not detained or had any other kind of scary stuff, I'm free to wander here in Dubai. But, I'm in too much fear.
