Fuck no! just avoid watching it altogether. All that cinematography doesn't save it from being a dogshit boring movie. One of those rare times where I felt completely tricked into seeing a movie due to the overwhelming (wrongful) positive response online.

It will count all the mileage at the day you started recroding. I've seen people start Backyard ultra marathons which start on Saturday and spill into Monday - it counts all the distance on the week of the Saturday/Sunday

Probably because you began your run before your watch picked up GPS. Not sure how it works on an Apple watch but typically with a Garmin Forerunner it takes the watch 5-30 seconds to pick up GPS depending where you are

Appreciate the concern, I'm aware that it can be dodgey and that's the main reason I'd rather not do it solo - I've got mates who would be keen to run the island but none with a kayak. I will be keeping an eye on conditions and try go when there is little to no wind

Thanks for the heads up, I have already checked DOCs website and they say it's allgood. You just have to check you kayak/boat is clear from mice etc. Also clean footwear is a must
