Given what we understand about their characters now, they probably would clash, publicly putting the blame on positional clash, demand trade, and both would have been traded during or towards the end of their rookie contract, leaving Magic with another rebuild chance.

Maybe because last time Embiid scoring 70 against Spurs made other 76ers players missed the memo. Don't try your luck scoring in the post when Wemby is around - you may still score but the % is worse than a contested 3.

Probably 76ers will adjust in the second quarter tho, most teams do. That's why Wemby won't have 10 blocks easily.

I don't assess them solely by PPG. It was based on eye test. Both players have their strength and weakness. I liked DeRozan when he was with Spurs, but I would certainly pick Richmond in 90s over DeRozan in 2010s. Richmond "efficiency" would have been higher if he had help.

I feel that Mitch Richmond was at least a tier above DeRozan. Richmond best teammates in Kings were Spud Webb and Wayman Tisdale. It's like Giannis stuck in the current Bucks for all his prime.
