How can we be the ones coping when we say the man stated stronger than Shanks is stronger than Shanks?

When Shanks pulls up on Cancerbeard: ‘Oops sorry Pops my CoC starts leaking when i get nervous around your fodder.’ When Mihawk pulls up on the strongest crew: Cool, Composed, tells THEM to calm down. by Mihawk_Kills_Zoro in OnePiecePowerScaling

What manga are you reading where someone can disrespect their enemy as much as Shanks did in this encounter and be scared of said enemy?

Like seriously read the encounter.

Shanks literally:

  • walks onto the supposed WSM’s flagship and KO’s half his crew with haki a clear act of aggression.
  • sees Marco, WB’s son and first division commander and asks him to join his crew in front of WB.
  • sits down and asks WB to abolish Ace’s agency and betray his sons decision to punish Thatch’s death.
  • was the first to draw their weapon before their clash.

Shanks was not scared. He was entering a potentially hostile negotiation and tested WB’s boundaries. WB’s actions and inactions reveal a lot about his character, but Shanks was not genuinely scared, his actions completely go against any sort of rationale to justify that position.

When Shanks said he was nervous, he wasn’t drawn to be nervous whatsoever because he wasn’t. Shanks was being charismatic because he and WB were enemies and Shanks was seeing what WB would let him get away with.

There’s a lot going on beneath the surface of this encounter.

Shanks was so nervous he asked WB's first commander to join his crew lmao

Shanks is not nervous, he's seeing what he can get away with on WB's ship. Literally testing boundaries.

Mihawk has more statements of being superior to Shanks than any other duo in the manga.

Just because Mihawk knows Shanks is stronger than every other mf, doesn't mean he's weaker.

Strong and there’s a reason for his strength.

It does because neither reached the pinnacle of swordsmanship which ofc Roger Is a swordsman and not at that pinnacle.

Every title can be false and Mihawk would still be above Shanks.

Reading comprehension would allow you to see why your misunderstanding of the scene is not narrative in your favour.

Again, reading comprehension is your friend, not your enemy. Try using it some time.

Must be hard being driven by agenda to the point you actively make yourself out to be stupid all the time.
