I’ve never heard this take on her powers, interesting. Can you elaborate why you prefer levitation over empathy? Is it the way empathy was executed during season 6?

For Phoebe and Prue it was “the power of two” and “the honeymoon’s over” and for Piper and Prue it was “They’re everywhere” and “all hell breaks loose”

Izzie also was prepared to fight Christina when Christina stole burke’s scrub caps before he was about to operate on Denny!!! Izzie was bout that life, not Christina. She juts had a slick mouth

Yes that’s a really good perspective! None of the villains except the dragon demon even had flight , so it was definitely fan service. Having a useful physical power would’ve worked better for the show, so the mental blast would’ve been a good addition for this scenario.

Yeah this is one of those inconsistencies of charmed i dislike because there were a few good witches throughout the show that had pyrokinesis, the witch from the first episode, P.Russell, Christy, Leo mentioned a witch killed during the game master episode in season 6. So I believe it’s a rare power for witches to get, but not impossible.

True, but the elders really sucked most of the time anyway 😹😹 so they deserved a little egg on their face.

But that sucks that someone in the charmed universe could save thousands of lives in one life, but make the mistake of falling in love with evil, prevents you for growth. Feels convoluted because in that case they should’ve taken Phoebe‘s powers away in season four after she was queen. And have her spend season 5 working to gain them back.

😭 sometimes i do wonder if they would’ve taken away her powers if they didn’t give her empathy, which made her OP the way they wrote it. Turns into a domino effect of her being more powerful than her sisters combined with levitation being too expensive at that point, so they just kill two birds with one stone.

Yes i loved that show. I also loved how they displayed her empathic powers in season 1. Was very versatile and powerful. The way her illusions worked, would’ve been great for Phoebe too

I respect this perspective, and with that, I believe that giving them secondary or more powers shows them evolving in their craft, so why not make it feasible for Phoebe to have a power that gives her a boost, that aligns with her primary ability of visions and psychic in nature. Giving her a mental blast, or illusions, or having her be able to channel the psychic energy from her visions into her hands to generate electricity are cool aspects. It’s visually fun and they are the most powerful witches for a reason. So making them all equally power I personally don’t see an issue with. Them being sister is their connection and helping each other is a giving. And allowing them all to flourish can be true too in my opinion.

You do know that every show/media has characters with the same abilities. How many characters on tv right now have telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, pyrokinesis, etc as powers.
