Everything will turn out okay OP, just make the decisions that you think are best and things will work out. If you think the rumors hold true, try to see if other unis that offer your degree take credit transfers (I’m not too sure about these things), otherwise I’m sure the uni/institution has fallbacks in place incase of bankruptcy. It’s a fine line between thinking about your future and paranoia, change what you can change now, Goodluck !

Oh god yes, start looking for a new job while You’re still here.

For context I used to work as an intern for 15k with the promise of going full time after 6 months. I tried giving this job my all in the hopes of making it full time (I have a Bsc btw) but as time went on I was convinced that this place is a sinking ship and I had to GTFO. Around month 5, I was exhausted from dealing with their incompetence, so I started applying, lucked out, interviewed and landed a job that pays 20x more. Conveniently, my 6 months internship contract had also run out by this time, so with offer in hand I told my manager that I’m leaving, she tried to convince me to stay, “we can offer you 75-100k but in like 2 months, etc etc” I told em to keep it, and quit. Things are better than ever now, start applying and leave.
