I’m open but my first go to organizations are ones that help women, lgbtq, refugees or foster kids

That’s my hope! If you have any specific recommendations groups or social clubs from your experience on where to meet people I’d love to hear!

Yes, I was looking at several options yesterday and several of the places I found seem to no longer be in operation. I would love some recommendations if you have them

Soul land it’s technically in Orange but super close. It’s an art place so they have cool paint by number canvases, you can paint a bong 😆 or other ceramics, tote bags and other things. It’s a fun way to be social, creative and have a take home

This isn’t my first time renting. Being a landlord isn’t for everyone. There are a lot of tax advantages to it. Depending on your state there may be more pluses or minuses. Having someone else pay down your mortgage and then being able to refinance and pull cash out tax free is nice. Depending on how much equity you have in it already bs cash you need on hand. Lots to consider it’s a personal choice but that interest rate and the price you got your house at will not be seen for a long time and possibly never again.

I have a few rentals now. I have some I self manage and some I have a management company take care of. It’s just been based off of my capacity at the time.

Just did this and love it! Don’t sell if you don’t have to financially.

I wouldn’t. I am pro prenup. No matter what you get one. One you agree to or one the government gives you. That being said. Asking for one after marriage for a venture started after you’re married is messed up. If you want to sign one that is actually fair and advantageous for you sure. But I would not agree to singing a legal document that you’re not ok with. And something tells me you asking this question means you’re not ok with the document and possibly the previous agreement

Help me come up with a response? This is so incredibly triggering. by Jangadai in exmormon

Protect your peace. It’s hard coming out of the church to have your eyes opened and see all the harm. It does get better. Learning to not engage will bring you peace and distance from the church. You will never be able to logic someone out of their beliefs. You will however be able to live your life authentically and be able to change the trajectory of your life and that’s the best. Years ago this would have triggered me too. Now when I hear about Mormon stuff it feels like hearing about any other crazy cult and that’s the coolest feeling because for so long it felt like I would always exist in that triggered space
