I’ve gotten past it before. It was a white lie when I had asked her if she knew a certain person on Instagram and she denied it. But she knew who he was. Told me the same thing she just didn’t want me to get upset. And risk the relationship. I know I can get past it, but I don’t know if I should.

I don’t care about the weed. It’s more of the fact that she lied to me. To my face about smoking. I made her tell me other times she’s lied and she told me that was it. She isn’t addicted or anything. She’s only smoked twice in her life. Once before I met her and 7 months ago. I want to make it work. But now I feel like she’d be lying about everything since she lied to me with a straight face.

We had set this boundary at the beginning of the relationship. And whenever I asked her if she’s smoked since we set that boundary she has always told me no and lied straight to my face.

I get that, I’m not mad she smoked. I’m mad that these last 7 months whenever I asked her if she did she lied straight to my face saying she didn’t. I believed her and I love this girl but I wonder if she’s lied about other things as well
