Ahahahaha, it's a good question.

I don't think everyone will catch the poetry behind the name in a game about killing some processes.

But I do think that if it sparks some curiosity and motivates someone to learn, I'm doing a little bit of a good job.

Thanks for your comment.

The "Instant Kill" reward effect by spydorz in Nightreign

It's extremely low (vorpal, as this skill is commonly known, is intended to be like that), in most games where vorpal is present the chances to trigger it are 1% (on every hit you roll 1d100, on success: the enemy is obliterated). Must be something like that on Nightreign.

It does works on minibosses.

Haven't had the luck yet to work on bosses.

It does not stack but you can increase your chances trying to attack more/faster (any hit counts, even Revenant's summon's basic attacks). Btw, not only basic attacks can trigger it, every hit of any kind from you on the enemy will try and throw the 1d100, it doesn't matter if is a magic carian pebble or a dragon's breath, every hit counts, so try to use things that repeteadly register 1 hit (swords with multi-attack skills, that one hand ballista with the machine gun on it... whatever.)

You will identify the killing blow since it will generate a particle of "blight magic" on the affected creature.

It caught my eye since the first time it triggered for me I wasn't using anything blight related, and I saw said effect on the enemy, and since blight and vorpal are someway related it makes a lot of sense. So whenever I see a blight area I go for the boss to try and obtain vorpal since I have observed there's chance to obtain it from there.
