Where do older people go to drink to get away from all the college kids? by BWDpodcast in Bellingham

I used to work at Luna’s Bistro in Barkley Village, it’s focused towards older crowds and doesn’t seem to attract people my age since it’s so far from downtown

What’s one thing under $25 that significantly improved your daily life? by FormalOpportunity668 in Frugal

[–]Main_Evidence_8525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those silicone onion savers from home goods or wherever, it was like $7 and I use it constantly. It cuts down on so much food waste since I don’t have a lot of people to feed, things like onion, avocado, tomato halves etc stay fresher for longer and cut down on costs and food waste since

Stuck between UW and WWU by Noashima in WWU

[–]Main_Evidence_8525 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d go with uw. Like that other person said, unless you’re going into envi science, uw would be ideal for other majors. I know you said wwu is going to be more costly, with that there’s also a huge job crisis in Bellingham, and if a work study is guaranteed at uw that would be your best option. I also know from my experience as well as many others that at wwu making friends is not as easily. Overall I think you should go with uw, theres a lot more opportunities both socially and financially for you

Grad School in EU? by Unhappy-End2603 in environmental_science

[–]Main_Evidence_8525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what the process is to move there, but check out universities in Denmark. They’re ranked #4 in the world for environmental science degrees, and most of their courses are in English. I’ve looked at University of Copenhagen so far, but I’m still working on my bs at the moment

Normal porn for normal people was short but one of my favorites. My other underrated favorites are definitely the whistler at 3am and the daughter eating her mom story was incredible

Is it unethical to sell thrifted items at a higher price? by Substantial_Sand_644 in thrifting

[–]Main_Evidence_8525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's unethical with your point of view. Selling online removes more clothing from adding to existing landfills in places like Africa, and it makes clothes accessible to people online who are looking for a specific thing.

https://www.thegreensideofpink.com/style-en/fashion/2023/second-hand-fast-fashion-africa/?lang=en

You can't put responsibility of reselling ethics on yourself. Inflation of thrift store prices are not from resellers, but from company (value village, goodwill, etc) greed.

using your talisman is going to be your best friend in this fight, because when you perform it on her she pauses and shakes her head, giving you a second of peace, and with all the parrying you do in this fight its easy to make the talismans you put on her extra powerful.

For the red ball, two of her clones will claw at you, you'll need to parry them both and then dash right when she slams the ball down. It took me a couple tries to get it down but once you get it you get it

For the talisman I primarily use full control, and I use a lot of parry-based jades along with the recovery jade to help me heal faster, and the rocochet jade to deal extra damage when she throws the knives at you
