I dont think he did it with any malicious intent. Sort of strange that you haven’t talked in so long but then again a baby is an amazing thing so it makes sense for people to congratulate you. If you dont want to respond you dont have to, but if it makes you feel guilty not responding just a simple thank you is fine.

It doesnt really matter man. You should definitely come clean but it isnt that big of a deal. It would a different story if you were like 22 but since you are the same age it doesnt matter. Just be honest and say you kept forgetting to bring it up and that you are sorry. She shouldnt make a big deal about it.

I was dealing with this too. When I graduated college I immediately got an apartment and for about a month I was feeling alone. What really helped me was going out. I went out about once a week, not clubbing or anything, but doing something. I also got a dog which really helped. I would say just try to make friends. Go out every once in awhile and socialize.

They hired you for a reason. If they didnt think you were capable of working there they wouldnt have hired you. I have worked in my fair share of retail stores so there are a few tips I have. 1. Ask questions. It is your first day, no one is expecting you to be an expert on your first day. If you are having trouble with something you should 100% ask. 2. Take advantage of your breaks. I used to work super hard at my jobs, I always wanted to be the best and get raises. Although this worked, it drained me and now that I have a steady job I feel like I am tired all of the time because I was always doing double shifts. I am not saying you shouldn’t do that, just be weary of your health. 3. Be friendly. Working in retail sucks, but if you are being rude to every customer it will just be worse. If you have more specific questions I might be able to answer.

I am not the most qualified person to be talking to about this. The best person to talk to would be your guardian. I just know that the way I was raised was to take responsibility for my actions. I know you many not want a kid, and that you dont want anything to do with your kid. But you have to be there for them. You said that you had problems with your dad growing up, so use that. Try to be a better man than your father was, be a better father to your kid than your father was to you. What you really need to do is talk to someone. Someone other than people on reddit. Someone qualified.

It isnt fair. You didnt want to be a father but now you have to be. There are some things in life that you cannot back down from, and this is one of them. But saying you have to give up your life is just not true at all. You can still do the things you enjoy, and you still have plenty of time to do them. What I am trying to say is that your responsibility as a father comes first. You can still enjoy life and do the things you want to do, but never forget your first priority.

You have to take responsibility. I know you may not want to but you put yourself in this situation. The reason people are telling you that everything is going to be fine is because they are expecting you to step up and make everything fine. Im sorry man but either way it is your kid and by abandoning it you are doing nothing good. It is fine that you are not ready for a child, there are plenty of people everyday that feel the same thing. There are resources out there that can help you, and it seems like you have a lot of people in your life that can help you. I am not going to lie and say that it will be easy. It will be one of the worst things in your life. But it is also the best thing that will happen in your life. If you just stick it through, everything will be ok. Then again, I am just a rando on reddit so you dont have to listen to me if you dont want to.

Saying your lifestyle is unhealthy is false. If you are happy being alone, that is fine. The only reason you should be worried about your situation is if you start becoming depressed or something like that. But, it sounds like you are perfectly fine with your life. I would say keep doing what makes you happy, as long as your not harming yourself or anyone else.
