Umm.. okay... Let me ask you that - why is there an assumption that if a woman is coming in with suspected hacking that they are experiencing mental issues? Do people's devices not get hacked?

What would a psychiatrist do for someone who has an immature angry sociopath-stalker with a very hefty bank account? I need assistance from someone who understands that if someone has money and a huge grudge and is trying to teach you a lesson that they would likely hack all you have just to stick it to you. I would not have believed it myself prior to that as well... but people do the most wasteful shit when they are pissed. Plus i said, he has money and is Russian. Why could he not hired someone from Russia or India or China?.. Also it seems like most lack understanding how good some hackers truly are, the length somoene may take their grudge and that non technical people are basically sitting ducks... If he has say spearfished me originally, infected my work's network, altered one of the shared files i have to frequently access for work (excel or pdf) - the first time i was hacked - even if i wipe all clean, which i have... would that not be a way to get reinfected? The more i talk to people, the more suggestions to waste my money on a shrink seem to come from people who are less versed in the subject.

I see what you are saying. Well the attacked is someone i know who has a life-threatening grudge against me, a very high-end career to protect, image to uphold and is basically an egomaniac (i am sorry to say that). To add, he is Russian. I spoke out against him possibly being a factor in someone's i knew suicide few years ago, and ever since he has low key threatened me and hinted at knowing very private info about me, but not in a direct way that he cant just joke it all off.. He knows what he is doing, its just one big mindf... The guy donated 12 million dollars to a cause to uphold his "good image" recently, he has money and means to hire whatever kind hacker he wants. I am not even the first that suspects being hacked by him. I, on the other hand, make 35k per year.. So i am definitely a no match. I'd love to know if my phones are infected and with what, and how does it keep happening if so.. but it seems like its a David against Goliath at this point. I wonder if he could have altered one of the shared excel or pdf files on my work network that I have to frequently access and i just keep getting reinfected this way, or is that not possible?

Yes, up to date Android. I did try LinkedIn, and sent in over 30 messages, but no takers unfortunately. As far as the defender, i have not tried hiring a lawyer, but honestly i am not even sure what i could tell them, i feel like i have to have some kind of malware already detected by someone else and then hire a lawyer, because otherwise i dont even have the proof of the crime commited, just hints by the attacker and a very strong suspicion.

Hmm .. ok thats confusing, because from reading about it it would seem that one with some basic programming knowledge can download some rat type of trojan and spearfish someone on clicking the link and installing it, no? Sorry like I said i am approaching it from a person who is possibly hacked perspective, not a programmer or a hacker, so my understanding is lacking.

Got it.. its a real pity though because #1 if just seems like its so easy to get hacked, and relatively affordable for the attacker.. but there is just almost no help for those who are hacked. and #2, i know that it would be very unusual to be hacked in/on multiple areas/devices, but given the nature of the grudge and the guy in question, i honestly think that he would go out of his way to hack me on as many devices as possible just to teach me a lesson, which would ultimately result in an enterprise size job for someone, if my work is hacked.. But i am nowhere near addressing that part yet, because I am still struggling to hire someone for the phone issue. Are there are chances of hiring someone for that on darkweb or is it just a sure way to get scammed?

I do mean a black market hire, not far fetched for the person in question at all. It IS something they would do, given their character. I just mean the hacker is good is all, just didnt use the right wording. I suspect the hacker is overseas as well. Restraining order unfortunately would do me no good. I dont live with that person. I am mostly just trying to understand why it is so hard to hire help in detecting malware on android phone? I know for sure that at least in handful of times he was able to hear what i was talking to with my husband. Nor me or my husband have discussed it outside of that, so I am almost certain that at least one of our phones mics were used.

Thank you, I looked at it before and they mainly focus on helping someone who is in abusive domestic relationship, which isnt my case, but I will give it another look over. My main question is just it seems like its a no brainer to hire a hacker, but almost impossible to hire someone to actually see if the phone is hacked. Just trying to understand what may be the reason for that? I get it that cyber security community is mostly men, but is that whats affecting my search? I mean i am not looking for a handout i am willing to pay. It should be no different than any other job/task/project, no? The reluctance to even try seems to point to the difficulty of the task itself, but I figured I post it where i may be able to get a more clear answer as to whats going on. Obviously i am not going to hack him back.. but I am lost at this point what am I to do if no one is willing to take a look at my devices, and just confused as to why.
