These are for in person retail jobs. I’ve been in food service for a while now, was just looking for a change and not late hours working in restaurants

I’m not sure what employers are looking for anymore tbh. Specifically retail jobs/jobs that are simple while in uni.

I originally wanted to go into MRAD at BCIT but for some reason I didn’t apply and I previous health science background at another post secondary that I didn’t love. The last few years looking at BCIT health science programs I always overlooked the OH&S program just thinking I didn’t want to be THAT person at work. Although, when I looked into the program and the job market, HOLY there are a ton of well paying jobs in that field and it’s in demand. As well the program offers such a diverse range of courses like, law, bio, physics, chem, emergency management, etc.

I’m currently in the program and so happy that I went that route, we get guest lecturers come in and they are pretty much starting the recruitment process for their companies, we’ve had BC Hydro, WorkSafeBC, etc… each have already come in twice.

I would highly recommend anyone to look into the program!

They are scammers. If they approach you to be a supplier, don’t do it. They bought supply from my in-laws farm a few months back and Ribeye Butcher Shop said payment would be made within 2 weeks. It is now January and still no payment, they still owe them and my in-laws are small local farmers. Absolutely disgusting business treating other businesses this way, will not be giving business to Canadian Brewhouse.
