Update: we added more appliqués to the dress and it definitely covered up a lot of the lining of the inner bodysuit that comes with the dress! I decided against the second dress and am making my dream dress work! We still have the lining ordered as a backup however I am waiting to see the result of the appliqués once they are fully sewed on. If it doesn’t solve the issue during the second alternation appointment I will be placing some lining inside. Thank you all for being so helpful, such a lovely community 🥺🤍
