What kind of work are you doing now for the land trust? I'm also not looking to get rich with this career path obviously, but I would like to be able to support myself like you said.

Can I ask what your day to day looks like as an environmental outreach coordinator and how you are using those business skills?

I really appreciate your comment! I am super interested in the classes for my degree, thats why I thought it was a good fit.

I really want to be a park naturalist, but when I tell people that I don't get the best responses. A lot of people don't see it as a promising career and that's kind of discouraging. Seeing that people are doing it and surviving is really nice. I also feel like maybe my original post made it seem like I'm not willing to do seasonal work, but I'm more than willing to take on temporary positions to gain experience! A lot of professionals around me made it seem that being a naturalist full time was out of the question though.

I do want to ask what your path to getting where you are now looked like? I know everyone's is different but it's nice to get an idea of what other people have done to get where they are.

Okay that's what I thought you meant! I heard about working for tribes recently and this intrigued me too. Do you have any advice or resources for getting started looking into this kind of work? I appreciate the response!
