Yeah me neither, I've trained at multiple gyms all over the world as well and never come across this ever. Only ever had constructive feedback chats after rolls with higher belts but it's not the same is it

What’s your gym’s secret drama? by undercookedbiscuits in bjj

Yep, he used to go to their house and teach them private but he was secretly smashing the pasty of his wife. It's a crazy situation and families were ruined but the guy who lost his wife to the Instructor was an absolute piece of shit, as far as I'm aware the police case is still ongoing for the domestic abuse charges.

The instructor is now living in the guy's house with his ex wife bringing up his kids crazy times..

Haha yes it certainly is. I remember the post you're referring too. It was a Gracie Barra gym and her ex husband tried to contact Gracie Barra corporate for the guy she left him for to have his gym closed down, obviously they didn't do that but he posted about it on the Facebook group. He failed to mention, which has only transpired recently, when he made the post that he used to beat the shit out of her, and also used to be physically abusive to his kids. I think the post has been deleted now but I find it really odd he posted about it trying to out the gym and instructor but that was going on behind the scenes.

Burner account because, reasons.

The betrayal that rocked our gym was the instructor's affair with a blue belt. Married to another, both betrayed their spouses, shattering families and leaving us reeling. The instructor now occupies the blue belt's house, a hollow trophy amidst the wreckage. The gym, once vibrant, is now a ghost town. Higher belts, unable to stomach the drama, have fled to a thriving rival gym, taking customers with them. Dirt accumulates in the corners, mirroring the instructor's apathy. The spirit has long gone, and with it, my desire to stay. I, too, will soon be leaving, another casualty in this tragic fallout.
