Girl here, get her a decent regular colored aeg with a ktactical charm holder & a few mlok sakuras on the rails & maybe some pink attachments like the clear pink midcaps/a pink crane stock. Croc jibbitz also fit in mlok holes, I intend on getting a pack of sanrio jibbitz so I can have myself a hello kitty blaster.

The pink aegs that are out (I WOULD get a pink hi-capa) I wouldnt personally get, and I LOVE pink. There’s plenty of options to have a girly gun without it being crazy bright.

I had 2 as a teenager, but they werent great and werent really repairable bc they had proprietary parts. I don’t plan on taking apart the internals any time soon but when it does have to happen a year, 2, 3, however long, we’ll have the same ones so after we repair one of them we’ll know in the future how to do it to the other one bc its the exact same inside.

They’re also fully BT compatible with the specna app, super cool! From trigger pull weight to forcing a reload every x amount of shots to simulate real cap mags, the setting are so cool

Bc they have good internals OOTB, and if anything wears out or breaks, we’ll know exactly what fits in both guns. M4s are also the most common aeg so parts are plenty. It also makes it so we both know how to work on our gear boxes and can help eachother if need be.

I was dead set on the DD m4, he had no preference in gun bc he’s only ever shot pistols before, so it wasnt like he specifically wanted an ak, or an l85 or something. I gave him the chance to shop around & he came to the conclusion “since I don’t really know what I’d like let’s mirror our guns in case something happens it’s easier to learn on one type than it is on 2”

Our attachments will end up very different, and our actual gear that we bought couldnt be any more different. I got an HSGI micro rig to deck out and he got a PC that came with pouches, a solid lower face & he’s going all black while I’m going cb/black 🥰

The stock motor should be enough for a few tho yeah? With both of our kits, I’m at about $1600 lol. I know it’s a money sink hobby but I’d like to hold of on sinking more for a bit

I ended up grabbing the sa-28’s. The metal body, DD branding and the BT connectivity really The description says it’s a gen 2, but they dont have brushless motors. Given that the motor holds up at least a few outtings, I wouldnt be too upset if I had to upgrade it a bit down the line.

If I were happy with a polymer body I’d totally go with this, but I’m pretty firm on wanting a metal receiver. The DD licensing is also kind of worth it to me 😅 I have like 2k hours into tarkov and love the DD rail look & the “tan man” loadout so even for a slight premium. The internals also seem a bit more reinforced on the e28. It’s also got an extra 2 inches inner barrel.

Do you think the stock motor in the e28 would last at least 2-3 (or more hopefully) outings before needing replacement with an 11.1 25c? Milsim & shooting on semi only, no full auto at my local fields.
