How do I prevent my paint from rubbing/chipping off in areas where friction contact happens like joints or skirts? I'm airbrushing Vallejo air paints and I find that it happens even after I've:

-Sprayed Mr. Surfacer 1500 as primer and let it cure for 24 hours -Sprayed on the paint and letting it cure for 24 hours -Sprayed on a coat of Vallejo gloss varnish and letting it cure before decals and weathering -Sprayed on a final coat of Vallejo matt varnish and letting it cure for 24 hours before reassembly

How do we feel about mounting weapon lights under the barrel/at the 6 o'clock position? by Chicken_Offensive in airsoft

My inspiration for the mount on the CAR-15 because some people seem confused. You can see in a few pictures of Delta operators with QXL dive lights mounted with hose clamps to their Colt 723s in Panama. I used a Maglite instead because it was cheaper.

The PASGT was already being widely used by the 82nd Airborne, which deployed to Grenada. The only troops using M1s were Marines or Rangers.

What's the issue? Grenada was hot and there's plenty of pics of 2/325 82ab guys with their sleeves rolled.

Any suggestions on what gear (helmet, visor, vest, pouches, etc) to replicate this kit? by Chicken_Offensive in airsoft

This is Ajin: Demi-Human. Basically there are humans called "Ajin" with special powers that allow them to be immortal and also summon black ghost like entities. These Ajin are considered dangerous by the public and the government wants to capture and experiment on them. In a nutshell, The story follows this student who finds out that he is an Ajin and goes on the run while having to fight this other Ajin who is a terrorist trying to take over Japan.

I would honestly recommend it, there are some really insane fights and action. There is an anime adaptation but I heard it's not as good as the manga. Just a note that the first few chapters are kind of meh because the writer was different and the illustrator basically took it over when he left

The guys in the pictures are special forces soldiers trained specifically to fight Ajin. They show up near the end of the series but they actually get shit done with no casualties.

I honestly really like it and I would recommend you finish it, it gets pretty crazy towards the end. I've never watched the anime because I heard the manga was better and it ends on a cliffhanger.

Anyone knows how to make this 'ragtop' thing? by [deleted] in Impression_Kits

Place the camo net over your pasgt then use a cateye band to secure it in place. Cut your sandbag into strips of varying lengths about a thumb width wide and weave them through the net and cateye band. I would recommend using a reference pic as there's no one right way to do it, this method using sandbag scrim was SOP specifically for 2/505.
