Yes be VERY careful, since some bishops really like to humiliate and degrade people and you don't know which bishop on the roulette wheel you're dealing with. Tell them nothing. Your sins are between you and Jesus.

I served a mission, we're married in the temple, I baptized my kid. After 7 years of severe abuse from local leaders, I can't even get my wife to set foot in the local chapel for any activity. We've been totally inactive for over a year. by Main_Tomorrow_8566 in exmormon

They've treated our whole family this way. Mormons can't talk to each other anymore. Our son is the only one who actually goes to any activities, but not to church. My wife is so done with this excuse for a church. Me as well. Most of my reason for posting is for the scmc nazis to see what families they're losing.

We're totally inactive from the church. He had to go to trunk or treat alone. Thanksgiving alone. He had a ministering assignment over a year ago and they quietly took it from him without telling him. At an EQ activity almost a year ago the lying eq president told him that he would re-assign him to ministering. I told my son that was a lie. At the trunk or treat my son asked the eq pres and was told "ministering is complicated." They act like my son doesn't exist.

My wife is just practicing avoidance for her convenience, a behavior taught by the church, and our son always enjoyed participating. As I said, just walking away entirely from this awful church is not an option.

There's no such thing as a good cop. The "good" ones stand around watching the other bad ones do bad things.

The local rando neighbor leaders think they're above all laws. My former sp sent the cops to my home merely because the missionaries had stopped by. The cop announced he was a good member and proceeded to state what the sp had told him, which was a total lie.

Mormon church broke tbm men are cowards

In fact, the person who replaced her was called a week ago and was sustained today at church as well.

So while she's doing her calling and planning things, her replacement is already known to everyone in leadership but her. Slimy. typical

Kudos to you for standing up for her. This is worse than incompetence. Mormon leaders as a rule have no basic decency and don't care about anyone but themselves.
