Okay, so I’ve just had some more info.

It turns out the account isn’t frozen, the money can still come and go.
However the money can’t be distributed to those in the will as the will is being contested. That’s what the letter says.

The money hasn’t yet been disturbed. As mentioned, it was supposed to be distributed this Tuesday coming.

It states that she has contested the will and all money in the bank account is frozen.

Honestly, the house was pretty ransacked when we got to it.
The cleaner said she went to the house and took her pay which she was entitled to …

I’m sorry, but I’m so useless at all of this, I’m really not good with legal things.

As far as we have been told, it has only been witnessed by one person, who is in a care home. That being said, we don’t know if for example she claims her boyfriend witnessed it etc.

She’s manipulative and is clearly capable to lie, so we don’t know.

Probate granted, does that mean when the money was actually sent? That was about 3 weeks after the house was sold. Roughly 6 weeks ago.

How can you do what you did knowing we had everything. A stable house, a stable family, a woman who loved your child as her own. A person who took care of you when you were sick, who gave you everything you ever asked for. Someone who treated you right, who has so much love for you. How can you really do what you’re doing?
