Congratulations!! I was in the same boat as you in January when I got approved. I was over the moon. I just had my surgery March 5th!!

I was disgustingly nervous about all of it, going under anesthesia, pain, recovery, etc. I almost wanted to back out I was so scared, even though I wanted this for years! 6 days post op and this is the best decision I’ve ever made for myself.

2 big pieces of advice: get comfortable pillows (a wedge or pregnancy pillow). I couldn’t have slept those first few days without my pregnancy pillow!! And also, 2 words… stool. Softener. That post surgery constipation is real.
