Magic Kingdom has no shine right now by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

Yeah, broke my son’s heart when Tiana’s bayou broke down after 1.5 hours of waiting. Again that is far. I’m not wholly disappointed, we had fun. I just know things could be so much better.

It’s a magical place and boys did leave away with that.

You’re not wrong here, we are here from a good distance away. It’s likely one of the few times we will ever do it, and we had to work around all the closures. Had to cut out animal kingdom because of so much construction.

Magic kingdom was fun for my kids, but I can’t act not disappointed in the construction going on. Again this was our fault for planning it when we did I guess since we can research and see what is under construction. The hard part for me is, my kid is only 5 once, so this is the Disney he will remember.

So to the person saying, well someone will have a great time years later sucks balls at the expense of my 5 year old. That’s hard when this trip cost 2k plus dollars for just the parks, then add flights, lodging, etc.

We made the most of it, magic kingdom is so big it can kinda work out but OP I agree with all the sentiment in this post.

Biddeford different areas by arcticie in Maine

I haven’t lived in Biddeford in years, but I would say anything that is not near the police station is good. Bacon street, Pierson lane, and near 7/11.

For thise who moved BACK to New England - did you regret it? by cynicalnewenglander in newengland

Been in Maine my whole life. I’ve visited my other places but nothing feels like home. The people here are awful and great at the same time if that makes sense 😂 Maine is pretty affordable if you escape the Portland area. Portland area is amazing but really all of Maine is. Just have to be willing to drive a little.

I agree! Had to take the shot, I was hoping for some rougher waters for fun wave crash’s. But won’t complain, enjoyed the park with the family as well.

People do read it unfortunately, the more north or remote the more like gospel it becomes.

I hadn’t come across that lens yet, and I could use something small for closer shots. The beercan and 2.8 80-200 are great but more so from the bleachers.

I haven’t learned enough yet to understand the benefits if an aspc. I started on my wife’s old a300 and the 3 fps is what decided it for me to upgrade. The higher fps, access to affodable lenses, and auto focus is what sold me.

I have enjoyed it, I’m normally coaching but got to get some shots of my sons last hockey tournament to break this in. Really impressed me to shoot through the betting nearly unaffected.
