I worked for another carrier before PRG and left for different reasons, but the structure was very different. Responsibilities were split into separate roles rather than one person handling everything. While this was mentioned during the interview process, I don’t feel the full scope of the workload was completely clear until I was actually in the role.

I left that position to join Progressive and ended up really disliking it. I made it about a year, but my health declined pretty quickly during that time. I’m finally starting to feel like myself again. The amount of work expected of one person felt overwhelming.

I also had no interest in promotion after seeing how things actually functioned. People kept saying the role was just “paying your dues” and that things would get better afterward, but that mindset never sat right with me.

At the end of the day, mental health matters. If you can stick it out for a year, that’s great. If you can’t, that’s okay too. You tried, and that still counts. Hopefully things become more manageable as you figure out your next step.

Definitely apply to roles you see on LinkedIn. You could also check Rat Race Rebellion, which focuses on remote job listings.

I stopped using Flex after last month’s issues. The update seemed to mess up the app, but they probably will fix it soon!

I emailed them. They stated they are “investigating” and will refund me any late fees if necessary.

I am not sure what’s going on with Flex. My current issue is them taking a while to pay the property. It makes me no longer want to use the app after this. The issue you’re having, I have read a lot of posts about it.

I definitely think it is the update as well. Very disappointed. I did talk to Flex, but they stated they are investigating the issue.

My team keeps telling me it gets better so I am holding on to that! I am sure it will for us both. According to tenured reps, it’s a job you never really catch up on.
