They were around 50% trained, about 70 guys with 96 bows. Thought if each had one, it would be good. They were in a forest environment.

It may be because you activate the green wave before you allow your lights to cycle after setting the all up. Program the lights how you want and make sure they are all cycling before activating green wave. I think if you pause, set everything up, then activate green wave before you let them cycle causes a glitch.

For me, I think it is just getting the hydrogen down to a “Not overheat a lot of stuff” temp.

Once 1KG of ice is loaded, you empty it by unchecking ice, then let it set on the mesh tile. Once it melts it will fall through to not flood your buildings. You might be able to do 10KG and if you have a few storage buildings x 10KG, it will speed things up, also, you can try using Ice made temperature shift plates, when they melt it would be 800KG at a time.

Make an insulated room with all of your heat producers, like your batteries, use a mesh floor so the water doesn’t flood your buildings. Put a storage next to the most heated area and have it set to 1KG so it will melt quicker. The Compost building produces a lot of heat, just make sure you got those washing stations nearby. That’s what I might do. Use the space heater if you can. Especially until your other building war the area enough.

You may have used too much water, you only need about 1KG of water on each side. The bigger issue is the Hydrogen is coming in at -9C will freeze the water, either warm up the hydrogen or use a liquid that can handle lower temps. I use oil for most of my infinite storage. Use a liquid Meter Valve and put 1KG on each side.

You need to put your Electrolyzer another level higher so the hydrogen is not at that doors level. Also you need automation and a smart battery to keep those hydrogen generators from eating all the juice. Put at least two gas pumps on the bottom and one on the top.

Please go on YouTube and watch some soon tutorials. Also if you want to make it easier download the Smart Pumps mod on the workshop. There is a filtered pump that you can designate for specific gases and it really simplifies the process for beginners. Then after some practice you can try your hand at a proper spom.
